Heidi Vukov is owner and operator of Croissants Bistro & Bakery, a local favorite on the Grand Strand. Vukov moved to Myrtle Beach from Pennsylvania in 1992 and opened Croissants Bistro & Bakery in 1995.

Vukov’s restaurant is a fusion of European and Southern cuisine, paying homage to her German heritage. It was the hours spent in her grandmother’s kitchen in Germany and the European bakeries that sparked Vukov’s love of cooking.

Vukov – and her restaurant – have earned several awards including 2011 South Carolina Restauranteur of the Year. She also is the co-founder of Coastal Uncorked Food & Wine Festival, held annually in Myrtle Beach since 2009.

Vukov published her first cookbook, “Bonjour, Y’all,” which highlights the diverse offerings at Croissants Bistro & Bakery while allowing you to bring Vukov’s kitchen to your own home.
