Chef Eric Masson, a French native holds three culinary degrees from three French culinary schools (Brest, Noirmoutiers and Paris) and worked in many prestigious hotels and restaurants in Paris, London and New York. In 1998, Eric migrated to the USA and opened his first restaurant “Ferrandi’s” in upstate New York followed by “The Saratoga Lake Bistro” in Saratoga Springs. Both places were celebrated by patrons and food critics alike and were named “Best French Restaurant in the Capital Region” from 2000 to 2004. He appears regularly on TV, radio and hold cooking classes at his new restaurant “The Brentwood” which also won “Best French Restaurant” in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Chef Masson also won the Coastal Uncorked “Iron Chef” competition that took place in Myrtle Beach. Eric’s culinary approach is creative yet simple with an emphasis on fresh, local products and dishes which are not only delicious but also healthy and natural. He specializes in “Low Country French Cuisine”, which incorporate Southern style cooking with an added unique French twist.
